Today, we celebrate a milestone that reflects the heart of our company and the leadership that drives it forward.
Our founder and CEO, Will Carter, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Vistage Member Excellence Impact Award. This national recognition honors leaders who create measurable growth within their organizations, elevate their teams, and contribute meaningfully to their industries. For anyone who knows Will, this is no surprise.

At WC Construction, we’ve always believed that our greatest strength is our people. Will is a leader who lives that belief daily. Whether on a job site or in a meeting, he shows up with humility, clarity, and a deep sense of purpose. He doesn’t just set the vision—he works alongside the team to bring it to life.
Since joining Vistage in 2022, Will has committed to growing not only the business, but himself as a leader. He has taken insights from his peer group and executive coaching and translated them into real progress for our company. By implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), he has helped us streamline operations, strengthen our culture, and stay focused on what matters most.
This award adds to a year of recognition for WC Construction, including our place on the Aggie 100™, Houston Business Journal Best Places to Work, and Fast 50 lists. Those achievements reflect a commitment to excellence and a team that consistently delivers. Will’s leadership has been at the center of that momentum.
He has also made it a priority to support others in the industry by mentoring peers through the Vistage Construction Network and encouraging other business leaders to invest in their own growth. His focus is never on personal accolades. It’s on building something meaningful with a team he believes in.
“The success we’ve seen isn’t just about me. It’s about the incredible team we’ve built,” said Will. “This award is a reflection of every person at WC who shows up, solves problems, and brings our mission to life every day.”
We are proud to celebrate this achievement with him and grateful for the steady leadership he brings to our company. This is more than an award. It is a reminder that great leadership looks like consistency, integrity, and care.
Congratulations, Will.
